About the Author
Dr. Carl S. Warren is Professor Emeritus of Accounting at the University of Georgia, Athens. Dr. Warren has taught classes at the University of Georgia, University of Iowa, Michigan State University, and University of Chicago. He focused his teaching efforts on principles of accounting and auditing. Dr. Warren received his PhD from Michigan State University and his BBA and MA from the University of Iowa. During his career, Dr. Warren published numerous articles in professional journals, including The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accountancy, The CPA Journal, and Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory. Dr. Warren has served on numerous committees of the American Accounting Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. He also has consulted with numerous companies and public accounting firms. His outside interests include handball, golf, skiing, backpacking, and fly-fishing.

I purchased this book for Accounting I and Accounting II class at university. It's 6.6 lbs, so quite heavy! I ordered it used and it had only very minor wear. I am still happy about this purchase. It is a very good textbook to study from. Everything is explained easily with simple instructions. There are practice problems, exercises and homework problems after each chapter. The online website companion has helpful study tools like flash cards, PowerPoint, etc. There are spreadsheets as well. My professor used some for homework assignments. Good luck with your studies!
This is a great book!! I used this for my second accounting class in college and the teache didnt help us that much. This book will show you how to do the problems step by step. Each chapter has a solved problem with every step. Wich will help you with the excercises at the end of the chapter( some of them are the same but with different numbers. It will help a lot). its amazing!!! I give it 5 stars , an i reccomend to keep it after college. It could help in your future. Also recomment getting the financial accounting one. Great buy!!
One of the worst text books I have ever had. Passed the class just fine despite the book. The other half, financial accounting, was just as bad. The online text is virtually unuseable. My condolences if you have to use this series.
I used this book for the managerial accounting class that I took online. This book could have gone more in depth on explaining various examples. However, if you are someone who is able to learn from one example than this book is right for you.(Most of us are forced to buy this for an online course)
This book was exactly what I needed and it is in great shape. The spine is a little bit damaged, but overall it is great. Thank you for the great book at a great price.. You really saved me a lot of money.

Cover was a little broken.. didn’t use it for class but it was in tact and good for class work if we had anyeasy and free return
