As a martial arts teacher I wanted to introduce my daughter to marital arts in an... organic way, at a young age. She was born a week ago today, but it’s never to early to start brainwashing... I mean reading to her in order for her to become aware of martial arts. This book is phenomenal, along wth the entire ninja series by these two! The stories are so fun and read fast, and the illustrations are fantastic! I highly recommend this book to all!

This book is mad, crazy funny! A new twist on a very old story. I love how the little girl opens up that red and black can on the wolf. Three cheers for the bully beatdown. And one additional cheer for the bully becoming reformed and walking a more enlightened path!

Really cute story! I bought this to inspire my grand niece and nephew to train in karate - don't know if that will really work but meanwhile this story is fun and they love reading it!

I bought this for my granddaughter, and it is a wonderful book with a good sense of humor and a valuable moral. I highly recommend it for any children who are studying the martial arts (and even those who aren't). It conveys the value not only of strength but of ingenuity, and it's a lot of fun too!

Cute twist on the old classic. I love the strong female character and yet this isn't a "girls" book. My 5 year old son loves it and thinks Red Riding Hood "rocks"

Fabulous book! I think she fits the time. This Little Red is not the naive one we meet in th original story - she is trained and prepared to meet any challenge! It is action packed yet, wonderfully poetic. The characters are bold, courageous and fearless!The colours are vivid and the large print makes it easy to read. The size is also perfect for kids to handle and hardcover is definitely durable. I am buying more as gifts for my nieces.
